Pathology and diagnostics

Lab orders and results, tracked until someone acts

Request the tests, get the results back in the record, and keep every patient with results to review on a follow-up list until they’re dealt with.

From order to result

Nothing falls through the cracks

Orders

Pathology, radiology and in-house tests or tasks.

  • Electronic orders and results with Ampath and Lancet
  • Radiology requests and report filing
  • In-house tasks assigned to staff
  • One overview of everything requested

Results

All of a patient’s results in one table.

  • Out-of-range values in colour
  • Trend graph for any test done more than once, such as HbA1c and eGFR
  • Hide normal results to review a panel faster
  • Point-of-care tests stored alongside lab results

Follow-up list

A practice-wide worklist of results waiting for review.

  • Opens on your own patients
  • Abnormal, ready and waiting filters
  • Results the lab added without being asked are shown, tagged “Not requested”
  • Rising or falling compared with the last result
Review

Review, message and plan in one step

When results come in, you decide what happens next without leaving the review.

  • Clinical note for the record.
  • Message the patient about the result.
  • Book a review or set a follow-up date.
  • Nothing silently fails: if something needed is missing, the patient stays on the list.
AI analyse

A short summary of the latest panel

An optional AI summary of the patient’s most recent results, read against their chronic conditions and medication.

  • A draft for you to review before anything is saved.
  • Uses what’s on file: results, chronic conditions and current medication.
  • See AI features for how the AI tools work.

Questions

Pathology: common questions

Which labs does Cliniweb work with?

Cliniweb has electronic orders and results with Ampath and Lancet. Results from other sources can be filed as attachments, and tests done in the room are recorded as point-of-care results.

How do I know which results still need attention?

Patients with results waiting for review stay on the practice follow-up list until someone reviews them. The list opens on your own patients and can be filtered to abnormal results.

Can I see trends for chronic patients?

Yes. Any test done more than once has a trend graph, so you can follow values such as HbA1c and eGFR over time.

Are results sent to the patient automatically?

No. You review the results first, and then choose whether to message the patient, book a review or set a follow-up.
